We want to keep you safe! While it’s impossible to eliminate all risk and we cannot predict how this virus will behave, we are taking all preventative measures.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

PPE has been one of the most effective methods of preventing the spread of Covid-19, some of which has been made mandatory on public transport and in retail environments. The most effective, and now widely available, form of PPE is a face mask, that not only stops people from contracting Coronavirus but also stops an infected individual from spreading Covid-19.

• We will wear appropriate PPE. These items will be changed during the day as necessary. 
• We will remove used items of PPE from your home and dispose of them appropriately.

Social distancing

Another effective method of stopping the virus from spreading is to observe social distancing, by keeping two metres apart from someone who isn’t part of your household. 

• We will remove ourselves from the working area, if you or anyone from your household needs to be in, or walk through the working area, and the 2m social distancing rule cannot be met.
• We are not being rude, but we will not shake hands.
• We will provide our own refreshment in order to minimise any contact.
• Where possible, payments should be made by direct bank transfer.

Work environment

We will keep the work in an area/room well ventilated – opening windows as necessary.

In the event of illness

You must notify us if you have been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 symptoms. Casa Maintenance Ltd will notify you if any employee has Covid-19 or develops Covid-19 symptoms.

Thorough cleaning

Although Covid-19 can survive on surfaces for up to 72 hours, it is vulnerable to even mild cleaning solutions that aren’t of industrial standard. Using soap, for example, is an effective method of killing any Covid-19 droplets on your hands. We will clean ALL tools daily.
